Our Story
The Origins
Franzosi was founded in 1980 in Ceriano Laghetto, Monza and Brianza province, originally named Elettrotecnica 2G. From the very beginning, the company specialized in industrial automation, partnering with leading firms like Triulzi Spa in Novate Milanese—an innovative company whose press has been on display since 1968 at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan.
The Years of Diversification
In the 1990s, the company embarked on a path of growth and diversification, expanding its range of activities. Beyond subcontracting work, Franzosi gained recognition for designing systems and automation solutions in new industries such as textiles, printing, plastics, rubber, and paper. This period of expansion also saw the company develop customized production lines tailored specifically to meet clients’ needs.
Growth and International Collaborations
With the dawn of the 2000s, Franzosi entered a phase of consolidation and new opportunities. The company expanded its production space to the current 1,000 square meters and gained new clients in sectors such as glass, wood, industrial hygiene, dyeing, and spring manufacturing. During this period, a strategic partnership was formed with the Japanese company Mikasa Manufacturing Engineering Design Co. Ltd. (MED), a manufacturer of electrical control panels. Thanks to this alliance, Franzosi became part of an international network of independent companies, able to collaborate across markets in Germany, the United States, and Japan.
International Recognition
Between 2015 and 2017, Franzosi was invited to participate in the Control Panel World Conference in Tokyo, a major international event for the industrial automation sector. In 2018, the company exhibited at Hannover Messe, the world’s most prestigious trade fair dedicated to automation and industrial technologies.

With over 40 years of history, Franzosi remains a small, family-run business, yet one with a forward-thinking mindset.
